I finished reading Mitch Albom's "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" and here are some thoughts and some quotes.

I'm going to do something different this time around. I'm declaring December book to be all three that received any votes. Now before you freak out, let me explain. All three are for me and me alone, which means if you want to read one over another, than do it. If you want to read two of them then go for it, and, which I doubt, if you're like me and want to read all three of them then more power to you. I will read all three so everyone will still be able to discuss with at least one other person in the group who has read the book you have. Happy reading.

It's that time again, even though right now I believe it is only Amanda and I reading the books and contributing to the blog, but oh well.

Holy crap, "Interview With The Vampire" is just as great as I remember it from High School. I find it very very hard to put it down. Are Amanda and I the only ones reading this book right now? If so you people don't know what you're missing.

ajmcoqui: Snow Falling on Cedars

I was quite impressed with this book.  I finished it this morning, and I have some comments which you might not want to read if you haven't finished the bookCollapse )

severus89: Optional Book

This book is entirely optional, seeing as how most of us have been too busy to read last month's book (myself included). So now I'm getting back on track by starting this book last night and Snow Falling On Cedars this morning. I'll get them finished by month's end promise.

The first chapter is as good as I remember it back in High School and all I want is to find a dark corner somewhere and keep reading. Happy Halloween.

severus89: Another nomination?

I know we decided to hold back reading Snow Falling on Cedars for next month too, but I was thinking, since it's Halloween and all that we should be reading a horror book as well. So I'm doing a Nomination for another book right now even though we're still reading a book for next month. Crazy me.

Since I have yet to start reading as well as Nicole, and I have a feeling that Kris isn't that far in it because she's been really busy with her new job, how does everyone feel about reading this book for next month as well? We'll just keep reading it for November. Let me know what everyone thinks.
